The Mantua Township Board of Trustees is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, and interior repair services required to remediate flood damage at the Mantua Township Civic Center, located at 4196 State Route 82, Mantua, Ohio 44255.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mantua Township Town Hall, 4122 State Route 82, Mantua, OH. Bid packages will be available at the meeting and thereafter at the Township Office, 11621 Mantua Center Road, or by request at jfesta@mantuatownshipohio.gov or 330-274-4144.
All sealed bids must be received by mail no later than August 13, 2025, addressed to PO Box 841, Mantua, OH 44255. Hand-delivered bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM that same day to 11621 Mantua Center Road, Mantua, Ohio 44255.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at a Special Meeting at 2:00 pm on August 14, 2025 at the Mantua Township Town Hall.
All bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities or informalities in the interest of Mantua Township.
The contract will be awarded on a Lowest and Best Bids, considering both bid price and contractor qualifications.

Cemetery Sexton Position Open
Mantua Township is accepting applications for the part‑time, as‑needed position of Cemetery Sexton. This role supports cemetery operations, coordinates with funeral homes, assists families, and maintains accurate burial and lot ownership records. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a sensitive environment.
This is a part‑time, on‑call position. Work hours vary based on burial activity, with most duties occurring during daytime hours Monday through Saturday. The role does not involve daily scheduled shifts. Familiarity with Mantua Township cemeteries and local geography is helpful.
