The Mantua Township Trustees are having a special meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 1:00 pm. to be held at the Mantua Township Town Hall 4122 State Rt. 82 Mantua, Ohio 44255. The purpose of the special meeting is to approve the low bidder for the 2026 OPWC Mantua Center Road Resurfacing Project. The Board may also consider any additional business that may properly come before it.

Mantua Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 20, 2026 beginning at 6:30pm at the Mantua Township Hall located at the southeast corner of the intersection of St Rt 82 and Mantua Center Rd, Mantua, Ohio. The Board will hear Application for Conditional Use Certificate for Atul Patel for property located at 4718 SR 82 (permanent parcel no 23-023-00-00-042-000). He is requesting a Conditional Use Certificate for a new construction project for a new C-Store with a fueling station within the C-5 District. The Mantua Township Trustees will hold their Annual Budget hearing for the upcoming year 2027. The hearing will be held July 2, 2026, at 5:45 pm at 4122 State Route 82, Mantua, Ohio 44255, immediately followed by the Trustees' regular monthly meeting. The public is invited to attend.

Notice is hereby given that the Mantua Township Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting for the purpose of reviewing a service proposal from the Ohio Auditor’s Office to provide accounting support to the Fiscal Officer. This proposal is intended to address outstanding accounting issues remaining from the prior administration and to ensure the Township’s financial records are fully updated and compliant. The Board may also consider any additional business that may properly come before it.
The meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, and will be held at the Mantua Township Town Hall, 4122 State Route 82, Mantua, Ohio 44255.
The Township is also evaluating options related to the Fiscal Officer’s bond to offset the cost of these services.

Cybersecurity Compliance & ORC 9.64
As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible governance and public trust, the Board of Trustees is taking proactive steps to comply with a new state law—Ohio Revised Code Section 9.64—which goes into effect on September 30, 2025.
This law requires all Ohio townships to adopt a formal cybersecurity program to protect public data, systems, and services from cyber threats. It also sets clear rules for how we respond to ransomware attacks, including a requirement that no ransom can be paid unless the Board passes a resolution explaining why it’s in the public’s best interest.
The Township Trustees have prepared a resolution and are crafting a cybersecurity program that meets these requirements
The plan will include:
• Annual training for staff
• Threat detection and incident response protocols
• Coordination with state cybersecurity resources
• Transparent reporting procedures
